Twelve Bucks County mayors plan to meet voters face-to-face at Doylestown Borough Hall on Monday, Oct. 26, eight days before the Nov. 3 general election.

The inaugural Bucks County Mayors GOTV Town Hall, organized by the PA Black Mayors Coalition and RiseUp Coalitions, runs from 6 to 8 p.m. at 10 Doyle St. Doors open at 5 p.m. The event is open to the public.

Doylestown Borough Mayor Elnora "Noni" West is hosting. Richlandtown Borough Mayor Wayne Codner will moderate.

"I wanted to get all the mayors in Bucks County together and have them joined by anyone seeking a political position to talk," Codner told the Bucks County Beacon.

Three candidates for state and federal office have confirmed they will attend, according to the Beacon: Bob Harvie, the Democratic challenger to Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick in the 1st Congressional District; Mark Pinsley, the Democratic candidate in the 16th state Senate District; and Rebecca Prendergast, a former Republican running as an Independent.

Getting Republican participation has been harder. Codner said he contacted Fitzpatrick's office twice and received no reply. State Rep. Craig Staats confirmed he cannot attend.

West said the forum gives Bucks County mayors a chance to question candidates directly on local priorities ahead of the November election, according to the Beacon.

The confirmed mayors represent boroughs including Chalfont, Dublin, Hulmeville, New Hope, Penndel, Riegelsville, Sellersville and Trumbauersville.

State Rep. Malcolm Kenyatta of Philadelphia's 181st House District, a Democratic National Committee (DNC) vice chair, will be the guest speaker. Chester Mayor Stefan Roots will serve as a panelist, according to A Better Bucks.

Codner, the county's only Black mayor, has won the Richlandtown mayor's office twice. He said local mayors hear directly from residents about issues like data centers, road construction and school boards.

"Our towns give us their trust, and we give them our full attention," Codner said.

The event is listed on the PA Coordinated 2026 Mobilize page, where RSVPs are being accepted.
