West State Street closes to traffic Friday and Saturday nights for the Doylestown Borough Block Party, and that's just the start of a packed weekend across the area.
The block party runs Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25, from 5 to 11 p.m. between Hamilton and Clinton streets. Restaurants and shops spill onto the pavement with food and drink specials, street games and live music. The event is free and open to the public.
Saturday morning at the farmers market
The Doylestown Farmers Market opens Saturday, July 25, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on South Hamilton Street between West Oakland Avenue and West State Street. The market, operated by the Bucks County Foodshed Alliance, runs every Saturday through November 21.
Peach Palooza in Chalfont
Tabora Farms hosts its Peach Palooza on Saturday, July 25, and Sunday, July 26, at 1104 Upper Stump Road in Chalfont. The festival features fresh peach desserts, baked goods, live music, outdoor dining and family-friendly activities. The farm market will also be open with locally grown produce.
Christmas in July at Peddler's Village
Peddler's Village in Lahaska is running its annual Santa's Summer Holiday from Friday, July 24, through Sunday, July 26. Friday evening brings a Village Food Trucks event from 4 to 8 p.m. with a snow foam party and Santa's grand entrance at 6 p.m. Saturday features a sand sculpture tour from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Sunday is set aside for strolling and gift shopping across the village's more than 60 specialty shops.

Live music and nightlife
Shady Brook Farm in Yardley continues its Summer unWINEd Concert Series on Friday, July 24, and Saturday, July 25. Gates open at 5:30 p.m. Friday and 5 p.m. Saturday, with music starting at 6:30 p.m. Kids can use the playground and Festival Field, included with admission.
Crossing Vineyards & Winery in Newtown hosts a free Sip 'N' Shop event Saturday, July 25, from noon to 3 p.m., pairing local artisan vendors with wine tastings. The winery also offers live music Friday through Sunday.
In downtown Doylestown, Villa Capri has live music at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with karaoke on Sunday. Main Street Sport & Social hosts Cruise Shop Night on its rooftop Saturday, July 25, from 7 to 11 p.m., with a "yacht rock chic" theme and tropical cocktails.
