Buckingham Valley Vineyards will pour alongside six other local producers at the inaugural Bucks County Pour Tour on Aug. 2 at Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery in Perkasie.
The event runs noon to 4 p.m. at 2730 Hilltown Pike. All seven members of the Bucks County Wine Trail will set up tasting tents: Aviator Vineyard and Winery, Bishop Estate, Blind Fox Vineyard, Buckingham Valley Vineyards, Crossing Vineyards and Winery, Manoff Market Cidery and Rose Bank Winery.
It's the first time the full trail has gathered in one place for a public tasting.
Each ticket includes a souvenir Pour Tour wine glass and at least four tastings at every tent, according to the event's Eventbrite listing. That works out to a minimum of 28 pours across the afternoon. Ticketholders can also buy full glasses or bottles to take home, and local craft beers will be available for purchase.
Beyond the wine, organizers are bringing in more than 50 local artisan and craft vendors, live music and food trucks. The vendor fair is open only to ticketholders. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets.
Buckingham Valley Vineyards, founded in 1966 at 1521 Durham Road in Buckingham, is one of Pennsylvania's oldest farm wineries and the only Bucks County producer making traditional-method sparkling wine.
