Kin Wellness and Support Center's fifth annual Be Kind Kin Golf Classic raised $27,485 at Spring Mill Country Club. All proceeds fund free cancer-support services for Bucks County residents.
Sponsorships for the shotgun-style outing sold out, according to Central Bucks News. Archetype Advisors and Yacht CFO served as title sponsors. Sandy McIntyre of Grace Media Services produced the event, donating her time to coordinate the day.
Golfers played a full round and competed in putting, straightest drive, closest-to-the-pin and pot-of-gold contests. Lunch, dinner and drinks were included.
Several Doylestown and Buckingham businesses backed the event. Doylestown Floor Covering, C&N Bank's Doylestown branch, Barre3 Doylestown, UPS Buckingham and New Hope, The Doylestown Cardinal and Jarrett Vaughan Builders all signed on as sponsors, alongside Fox Chase Cancer Center Buckingham, Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic and St. Luke's.
The Buckingham Township nonprofit, located at 2325 Heritage Center Drive in Furlong, offers yoga, fitness classes, nutrition counseling, massage, acupuncture, one-on-one counseling and support groups at no cost to Bucks County cancer patients and their caregivers. It operates through the 501(c)(3) Main St. Missions Corp. Co-founders Keith Fenimore, executive director, and Kristina Fenimore, director, are both Doylestown residents.
Kin surpassed 10,000 free services in August, serving more than 400 guests weekly through roughly 50 practitioners, as Patch reported.
The center is inspired by Bucks County resident Corinne Sikora, who battled both brain and breast cancer.
After the fourth annual classic in July 2025, Keith Fenimore told New Hope News, "My goal is to continually expand on our community engagement and outreach. This event has grown year-over-year." That edition raised over $32,000 with 105 golfers.
Kin's next fundraiser is Casino Night on Saturday, Nov. 7, with more than 30 gaming tables, over 70 raffles, and food and drinks. The sixth annual golf classic returns to Spring Mill Country Club in June 2027.
