A Doylestown couple is offering up their home to be toilet-papered on Mischief Night, all to raise money for breast cancer patients.

Jessica and Jeff Hilton will host the fourth annual "TP My House" fundraiser at 25 Bittersweet Drive on Friday, Oct. 30, from 6 to 9 p.m., as first reported by Patch. The event is organized by Main St., a Doylestown nonprofit formerly known as Pine2Pink.

The concept is simple. For a $5 donation, participants throw a roll of toilet paper at the house or into the trees. Each additional roll costs another $5. All proceeds go to breast cancer patients. Participants must bring their own rolls, and Main St. will accept cash, credit cards and checks at the event.

Keith Fenimore, founder of Main St., came up with the idea as a way to get entire families involved in the nonprofit's mission to support local breast cancer patients. For the first three years, Fenimore and his wife Kristina donated their own house for the event. After moving to a smaller home, Fenimore put out a call on social media for a new host.

Jessica Hilton answered. She connected with the Fenimores and their organization after being diagnosed with breast cancer, and she said she received a care bag from the nonprofit that included a food certificate, a book and a wish blanket. After completing radiation treatment in 2021, she attended a Main St. luminary stroll at Fonthill Castle.

"Jeff and I are very excited to host the TP My House event," Jessica Hilton told Patch.

Fenimore said the unconventional approach is the point. "I am not a fan of the ordinary," he told Patch.

The Doylestown School of Rock will perform live at the event. The Spuddy Buddy Fry Truck and Evolution Candy will offer food and treats, with proceeds supporting Main St.

Donations can also be mailed by check to P.O. Box 307, Doylestown 18901. More information is available at welcometomainst.org.
