Dylan Zangwill, a 19-year-old singer from Aston who competed on both "America's Got Talent" and "American Idol," plays a free show Thursday, Sept. 17, at Broad Commons Park in Doylestown.

The concert is part of the Concerts at the Commons series, a weekly run of free Thursday evening performances at the park at 10 Doyle Street, across from Borough Hall, according to Patch. Grounds open at 6 p.m. and music starts at 6:30 p.m.

Zangwill will play acoustic and electric sets with special guest Johnny Zarfati, a New Jersey-based Americana artist. No tickets or registration are required.

Zangwill first gained national attention in 2021 on Season 16 of "America's Got Talent," where his version of Queen's "Somebody to Love" advanced him to the Dolby Theater in Hollywood. He later earned a Golden Ticket on "American Idol" Season 21 after performing an original song, "Bittersweet Melody."

Between the two shows, Zangwill recorded four original songs at Nashville's Cash Cabin with Grammy Award-winning producer John Carter Cash. He has since worked with producer Adam Weiner and Weiner's band, Low Cut Connie, according to his official website.

His latest single, "World On Fire," came out in June and has received airplay on Philadelphia public radio station WXPN (88.5 FM), according to Central Bucks News.

The series is produced by Stage United, a Bucks County nonprofit founded by Joe Montone, in collaboration with Doylestown Borough. In a Sept. 1 Bucks County Beacon article previewing the September series, Montone said demand for all-ages live music in the area is stronger than ever.

"For an all-ages audience, there is a demand and not many avenues to experience that," Montone said at the time. "For our last concert on … May 28, 2026, we had more than 3,000 visitors."

The May 2026 run of Concerts at the Commons drew more than 5,000 total attendees across four shows, organizers said.

Food and dessert trucks will be on site, with beverages from Hops/Scotch. The event is pet-friendly. Free parking is available at the Bucks County Parking Garage nearby.

The series wraps up Sept. 24 with folk rockers Driftwood and special guest openers Kaitlynn Casper & the Night Bloom.
