The rankings are based on 2023-24 state assessment data, when Central Bucks School District elementary schools still served grades K through 6. The district shifted all 15 elementary schools to K-5 for the 2026-27 school year and launched full-day kindergarten at every building.

U.S. News weighted its formula equally across four factors: math proficiency, math performance, reading proficiency and reading performance. Half the formula measured raw scores. The other half factored in socioeconomic demographics, according to the ranking methodology.
