By Doylestown-Buckingham Record staff · October 2, 2026 · 1 min read

A free talk on preserving family paintings, quilts and documents comes to the Doylestown Library at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4.

Greg Stuart, education program manager at the Conservation Center for Art & Historic Artifacts (CCAHA), will explain how improper storage and display can cause irreparable damage to personal heirlooms, according to the Bucks County Herald. The Friends of the Doylestown Library is hosting the event in the library's Pearl Buck Room.

Stuart works for CCAHA, a Philadelphia-based nonprofit founded in 1977 that conserves art and historic artifacts.

Preregistration is suggested. Residents can email [email protected] to reserve a spot. Walk-ins will be accommodated as space allows.
