Central Bucks Regional Police want help identifying a man who allegedly tried to record someone in a Target dressing room in Doylestown on Tuesday, Oct. 6.
The incident occurred around 6:15 p.m. at the Target store at 456 N. Main St., according to a CRIMEWATCH posting by the department. The victim was trying on clothes when she noticed a cell phone on the floor, face up, with the camera application open.
When the victim yelled, the man moved the phone back to his own dressing room, police said.
After both left the dressing area, the victim confronted the man. He denied filming but apologized, according to the police posting.
Police have not confirmed whether the phone actually captured any footage. The department described the case as an attempt, and no charges have been filed. The case is listed as active on CRIMEWATCH.
Suspect description
Police described the man as white, bald, between 30 and 40 years old, with a Middle Eastern accent. He was wearing a grey sweatshirt and black Adidas shoes with white stripes.
Store surveillance footage showed the man leaving the Target parking lot in what appeared to be a red Ford Fusion.
