Mikhael Mogilevich, a 25-year-old Morrisville man and 2019 Pennsbury High School graduate, has been identified as the person who died after climbing atop a SEPTA train at the Doylestown station on Tuesday, Aug. 11.

Bucks County Coroner Patti Campi identified Mogilevich, according to Central Bucks Now, which cited reporting by LevittownNow.com for the Pennsbury connection.

Central Bucks Regional Police said the incident began at approximately 6:05 p.m. at the station at 130 S. Clinton St. Mogilevich attempted to board a train car but could not get through its closed doors, police said. He then climbed onto the train and touched the electrical wire connecting to it, causing him to be electrocuted.

Mogilevich went into cardiac arrest.

He was found beside the train on the side opposite the passenger platform. SEPTA shut off electrical power at the station so first responders could safely reach him. Emergency personnel used a mechanical chest-compression device and performed compressions while moving him from the tracks to an ambulance.

Central Bucks EMS transported Mogilevich to Penn Medicine Doylestown Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Three Central Bucks Regional Police officers responded to the scene along with two Central Bucks EMS units and Doylestown Fire Company. SEPTA Transit Police responded to the hospital. The scene was cleared by approximately 6:34 p.m., about 29 minutes after the initial call, and no roads were closed during the response.

The incident remains under investigation, though police said investigators are not seeking additional witnesses or video. No timeline has been announced for the completion of the investigation or the release of a coroner's report.
