Wheat & Vine, the specialty café and provisions shop at 266 South Main St. in Doylestown Borough, opens a second location Wednesday, Aug. 12, inside the lobby of the Cross Keys Office Center at 4259 West Swamp Road in Buckingham Township.

Doors open at 8 a.m. The first 50 guests will receive a voucher for a free coffee on their next visit, according to a VisitPA event listing.

Owners Kevin and Jess signed the lease for the Cross Keys space in April, they announced on Instagram on Aug. 5. The new café will serve coffee, espresso drinks, quiche, sandwiches, salads, baked goods and grab-and-go items.

"All in a space created for busy mornings and lunch breaks," the owners said in a statement reported by Patch.

That positioning targets the building's weekday office crowd directly. The Cross Keys Office Center is an 82,000-square-foot, four-story building adjacent to the Route 611 Bypass that sees roughly 18,000 vehicles pass daily, according to a property brochure from Penn's Grant Realty. Doylestown Health anchors the building. Other tenants include Wells Fargo, Morgan Stanley, CKS Engineers, Ardent Smile, Aventine Financial and LifeStance Health.

The announcement drew attention online. The owners' Aug. 5 Instagram post picked up 312 likes and 34 comments within a week, suggesting appetite for the expansion among the shop's existing customer base.

The South Main Street location, which doubles as a specialty grocery carrying small-batch pantry goods and gift boxes, will continue operating on its regular schedule: Tuesday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Sunday and Monday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cross Keys café hours are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to noon. Closed Sundays.
